Home School ORGANIZE! is a tool for home schooling parents to organize some of the aspects of home education and family life.

It allows users to create customized lesson plan, chore and theme charts. It also includes a calendar printing module and a database to track the family library. (We will TRADE - see bottom of page for a wanted list.)

NEW: We are adding a transcript planning and printing section to Home School ORGANIZE! A report collects information from our Calendar so you can easily see how many hours your child has spent on various subjects. You can then create and print a transcript in your choice of formats.

Calendar: An updated version for Win 95/98. An enhanced calendar/scheduler tracks activities for any number of family members. Mom can keep a master schedule print copies in a variety of formats. Regularly occurring events, such as weekly clubs or extra curricular activities, are entered only once and the program adds that activity to the calendar for each day/week/month as you specify.

Lesson Plans: This program allows users who hate the pre-printed lesson plan books with not enough or too many subject boxes to individualize their lesson plans. Home School ORGANIZE! lets users choose from 2 basic lesson plan formats to create a customized lesson plan. The user decides how many subjects to include on the form and types in the subject heading and time. The size of the box for each subject can be varied. After the ideal lesson plan form has been designed, plan contents can be entered on screen a week at a time. The number of stored weeks is limited only by disk space. Left and right page printing options are available so that forms can be printed double-sided and placed in a three-ring binder.

Chore Charts: Chore charts with childrens' names and individual chores can be created. Home School ORGANIZE! stores an unlimited number of chore charts for weekly printing.

Theme Charts: Designed for unit studies, a form with the theme name and labeled boxes for each subject to be included in the unit study can be printed. Theme charts have six subjects.

Pre-Designed Forms: HomeSchool ORGANIZE! includes a number of pre-designed forms for your convenience. Users who find going out to find a copy machine inconvenient, will enjoy being able to use their home PC to print a weekly meal planner/grocery list, reading list form, and weekly schedule. It also allows users to print "chore acknowledgement cards." They print six to a page and can be cut out for display around your home. The acknowledgement cards say things like, "This bathroom cleaned by _____________". Children will enjoy the recognition for a job well done.

Resources: Home School ORGANIZE! also includes a database for recording and tracking the family library and curriculum resources. Users can enter books and educational items and then search or print lists by item, subject, author, location, and type. This section can also be used to track items out on loan to others.
