After scanning the media, you can search and see all files on disks without having to insert each disk one by one. When you find what you looked for, CD Indexer will prompt you to insert the disk. You can search in all kind of file properties (filenames, paths, notes, versions, dates etc.) CD Indexer support plug-ins for special disk descriptions.

CD Indexer can describe and make covers for CD's and DVD's. An advanced Cover Maker is build into CD Indexer, you can make your own scripts and templates. The Cover Maker creates dynamic preview of your scripted templates, and print previews.

CD Indexer also supports audio cds. When CD Indexer scans Audio CD's CD Indexer can retrieve the AUDIO CD TRACK information's automatically over the internet using FREEDB. CD Indexer also supports custom plug-ins and several plug-ins is provided in the installation.

By default CD Indexer can add auto keywords and auto notes showing detailed information's about mp3,avi,wav,jpg and tiff (EXIF) The source code for the plug-ins is also provided, and you are free to make your own.
