Embed into
your applications the most powerful, fast and reliable text
capture technology available!
It is useful for
the programmers who want to add scripting ability to their
projects. FastScript is written on 100% Object Pascal and can
be installed in Borland Delphi 4-7, C++Builder 4-6 and Kylix
1-3.
TextCaptureX is
a COM library that allows screen text extraction in Windows
applications. It is accessible from any COM aware programming
languages.
TextCaptureX is the technology behind our multi-awarded
application, Aqua Deskperience , which is a living example of
our text capture library reliability. You can use it to
extract text from any application that doesn't provide
communication API's in order to feed another program. You can
also use it to extract text from legacy systems, file
directories, status bar messages, Windows error messages and
more.
TextCaptureX is not OCR based so it's incredible fast.
So it's convenient to embed it into dictionaries or
translation tools. Imagine: your customer captures any text on
screen, even when copy/paste is not available, with a hotkey
and with a mouse click your dictionary pops up with the text
already translated/explained.
Samples included
We provide C++, Visual Basic and C# samples into the trial
version in order to demonstrate the text capture library
features.
Limitations
TextCaptureX cannot capture text from scanned documents, faxes
and doesn't recognize PostScript/PDF/Adobe Acrobat fonts. Also
it doesn't work in Windows 95, 98 and ME.
Custom Development
If you do not have the in-house resources to bundle our text
capture library with your application we offer to do this for
you at very competitive rates.
Customer
speaks:
"You guys are obviously way ahead of me! We've had several
successful deployments with TextCaptureX and are regularly
replacing our old OCR technology usage with it. Saves our
customers about $300 per 2 PC installs and kills all the
headaches associated with "true" font-based screen OCR "
- Ray Van
Vynckt ,Add-On Technologies, Inc.
" First impression confirms what I expected, TextCaptureX is
very fast.
Timed your main competitor's interface in an existing
application: 123 s.
Exchanged their code for a few lines accommodating your COM
wrapper: 3,7 s.
So we gained two minutes in a simple 100x loop compared to
using the (interrupt-driven) server of your main competitor! "
